Train stikes trespasser at Malden Center

On October 30th, 2012 at approximately 8:38pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 2 received a radio call to respond to Malden Center MBTA station for a report of a trespasser struck by a train. Upon arrival officers located a 22 year old white male suffering from NON life threatenting injuries. The male was located on the inbound side approximately 1/2 mile north of Malden Center station. The male has been transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. Service has been suspended in both directions and a bus diversion has been established. Transit Police detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
