Sex Offender & Wanted people

On October 19th, 2012 at approximately 5:30 pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 3 were on patrol at Andrew Sq. MBTA station. While there they had occasion to observe a male, later identified as George Handy, 40 of Southbridge, MA. loitering in the busway and smoking while in a conspicuously posted "No Smoking" area. Officers approached Handy for the purpose of issuing a citation, in the course of issuing the citation officers discovered there was an outstanding default warrant in existence for Handy's arrest. The arrest warrant issued from Plymouth District Court was for Distribution of Class A substance, Possession of a Class A substance and Conspiracy to violate the Commonwealth's Drug Laws. Handy was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for processing and issued a citation for smoking. Handy will appear in Plymouth District Court sometime today

On October 19th, 2012 at approximately 8 pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 1 received a radio call for a male exposing himself at Copley Sq. MBTA station. Upon arrival officers located a male subject fitting the description provided. Officers engaged the male, later identified as Daniel Williams, 54 of Boston,MA., in conversation and a investigation discovered there was an outstanding warrant for Willaims' arrest issued from South Boston District Court for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender**Second and Subsequent Offence.  Williams was placed under arrest and transported to Transit Police HQ for processing and will appear in South Boston District Court sometime today.

On October 20th, 2012 at approximtely 10:25 pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 4 were on patrol at Ruggles MBTA station when they were approached by a concerned citizen, who Saw Something and Said Something. The concerned citizen pointed out a woman, later identified as Zavette Little, 42 of New Bedford, MA., and informed the officers she (Little) had just urinated in the elavator. Officers approached Little, who at first provided a false name to the officers. Little knew she was a wanted person, turns out Little had a warrant for her arrest issued from West Roxbury District Court for Unarmed Robbery, Assault &Battery w/Dangerous Weapon and Assault&Battery. Officers placed Little into custody and transported her to Transit Police HQ for processing. Little will appear in West Roxbury D.C. sometime today. Another Great example how  "See Something..Say Something" truly works.
