Train Pedestrian Fatality-Hyde Park 10-17

On October 17th, 2012 at approximately 9:50 pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 4 were dispatched to the area of 735 Hyde Park Avenue, Hyde Park to investigate a possible pedestrian struck by a MBTA commuter rail train. Transit Police detectives on scene report the following preliminary information: a white male, approximately in his 20's was struck by an Eastbound Franklin Line MBTA train on Track 3 in the Northeast Corridor section in Hyde Park. The male was pronounced deceased. Transit Police detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

  1. It's good to hear that authorities are perpetually doing their job and making some actions when things like this happen, we are in need of them at this point and time. The oxford ms attorney I've conversed with told me that he also appreciate all the efforts of police in lessening not only the number of accidents taking place but also the overall crime rate in the place they are serving.
