Boston man victimizes an elderly woman. MBTA Haymarket

 On May 26, 2021 at approximately 8:40AM a 75 year old woman was with her small pet dog at the MBTA's Haymarket Station when she was approached by a male, later identified as FAYCAL DAAMACHE, 53, of Boston. DAAMACHE engaged the victim in small talk feigning to be interested in her dog. DAAMACHE's ultimate goal, we allege, was to district the elderly victim long enough to steal her purse which is exactly what he did. DAAMACHE got away with the victim's cell phone, keys, ID's and bank cards. 

Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives DAAMACHE, on 05/27/2021 at his residence, was placed into custody. DAAMACHE was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

East Boston man attempts to carjack a taxi at Braintree MBTA

 On May 24, 2021 at approximately 12:48AM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Braintree station for a report of an assault. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim and ascertained the following information: the victim, 57 years of age, works as a cab driver and was waiting to pick up a customer in the taxi stand at the Braintree MBTA station. The victim was approached by a male, later identified as Zaccaria Adan, 28, of East Boston. Adan requested a ride and the victim explained he already had a fare he was waiting for. Adan responded by punching the taxi's window and yelling obscenities. The victim exited his taxi and was then physically set upon by Adan. Adan, with a close fist, began punching the victim about his face and head eventually knocking him to the ground. Adan then began kicking the victim in the head. Adan then entered into the victim's taxi and attempted to drive away but was unsuccessful. Adan then stole the victim's cellphone and US Currency from the taxi and attempted to leave the area. 

Adan was positively identified by the victim as well as a witness as the assailant and placed into custody. Adan was transpoted to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Boston woman attacks ride share operator.

 On May 21, 2021 at approximately 11:45PM a Transit Police officer was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Melnea Cass. BLVD. and Southampton Street in Roxbury. While stopped he heard the screams of a female seeking help. The officer scanned his vision in all directions attempting to locate the origin of the scream, at this time a vehicle pulled up next to him. The female operator was screaming for help and the officer could observe a passenger in the back seat was violently attacking her (the operator). The officer immediately exited his vehicle and took affirmative actions to end the assault. 

The assailant, later identified as Charlotte Beasley, 62, of Boston was placed into custody. The officer interviewed the victim, a 37 year old female, she informed the officer of the following: She is a ride share driver and was sent to pick up the above referenced assailant. Suddenly and without provocation her passenger began to violently assault and beat her. Fortunately the victim encountered Transit Police during the attack. 

Beasley was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. Beasley to face Assault & Battery charges.

Malden man arrested by TPD after causing a disturbance on Orange Line train.

 On May 12, 2021 at approximately 7:30PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Haymarket Station Orange Line for a male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival witnesses informed the officers a male, later identified as Michael Juskowiak, 46, of Malden "was going nuts" inside the train car by smashing the train windows and releasing a fire extinguisher contents in all directions. Officers immediately headed in Juskowiak's location where they observed him preventing the train from departing the station by standing in between the train doors. Officers also observed a white powdery haze in the air and several train windows shattered.  

Juskowiak fled down the right of way and service had to be suspended while the officers had to search for Juskowiak in the tunnel. Officers located Juskowiak inside the tunnel and placed him into custody. Juskowiak was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

The subject depicted within is wanted for questioning relative to an Aggravated Assault & Battery at Park Street (Green Line) MBTA Station, on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at approximately 8:04 AM.The subject took exception to a grown man sitting in a stroller, called him a derogatory name and then physically assaulted the victim causing injury.

Lynn armed with illegal firearm at MBTA DTC.


 On May 9, 2021 at approximately 11:40AM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Downtown Crossing (Orange Line)  station for a report of a male, who had made himself comfortable on the ground by the fare gates and was sleeping. It was also alleged, by the reporting party, when the male rolled over to switch sleeping positions a handgun fell out of his pocket. The male simply placed the handgun back into his pocket. 

Upon arrival officers engaged the male, later identified as JACK MYETTE, 29, of Lynn. Subsequently officers recovered a loaded firearm, a 9mm with one in the chamber, from Myette's possession.  Myette does not have a License To Carry said firearm. Additionally, officers discovered what they believed to be heroin, repackaged for resale, and other non identified controlled narcotics from Myette's possession. As if that was nor enough Myette also had a warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court for Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Cocaine Trafficking and Heroin Trafficking. 

Myette was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Providence man arrested for attacking elder at South Station.

 On April 30, 2021 at approximately 5:51PM Transit Police officers received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's South Station commuter rail track 7 for an unknown disturbance. Upon arrival officers observed a male, later identified as Nestor Herrera, 37, of Providence screaming at another male/victim (60 years of age or older). Officers attempted to calm Herrera to no avail. Herrera was accusing the victim of stealing his cell phone. Herrera was using profanities and creating a disturbance. Another concerned citizen came forward and informed the officers she observed Herrera strike the victim 3 times in the face with a closed fist after accusing him of stealing his phone. Officers were able to locate Herrera's phone, which was turned into Keolis Lost & Found prior. The victim had nothing to do with Herrera's phone being lost. 

Based on the Victim's age and Herrera's tumultuous behavior Herrera was placed into custody for Assault & Battery on a Person 60 years of age or older. As the officers were taking Herrera into custody they discovered a clear bag containing a white powdery substance from Herrera's person. Upon the discovery Herrera stated "Yup, that's cocaine for my personal use". Herrera was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance pending laboratory results. Herrera was transported to TPD HQ for the arest booking process.

Boston man wanted on a Warrant for Lewdness draws attention to himself w/Lewdness.

 On April 30, 2021 at approximately 4PM a Transit Police officer on patrol at the MBTA's Nubian Sq. station was approached by a concerned citizen and informed there was a male inside the station exposing his genitals and buttocks to random patrons. The concerned citizen provided a description and last known area of sight. The officer proceeded in that direction while en route the officer was flagged down by an MBTA bus operator who informed the officer there was a male on her bus exposing himself. The officer boarded the bus and observed a male, later identified as David Jones, 60, of Boston. Jones was seated and had his pants down exposing his genitals and drinking from a can of beer. The officer had to physically removed Jones from the bus after repeated requests to exit. Subsequently the officer discovered there was a warrant for Jones' arrest for Open & Gross Lewdness and Resisting Arrest. 

Jones was placed into custody and transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process. Jones will be additionally charged for Open & Gross Lewdness for his behavior within the station and on the bus as well.
