Cambridge man arrested for Open & Gross Lewdness.

 On March 6, 2023 at approximately 9:30AM a female while travelling on a Red Line train from JFK-UMass to Quincy Center Station reported the following: A male sat directly across from her and committed a lewd act. While doing so the male was staring and laughing at the victim. The victim took the suspect's photograph. TPD was notified and service was held at Quincy Center Station. Responding officers were met by the victim who furnished the officers with the referenced photograph. Based on the photograph officers located the offending male, later identified as Calebre Predelus, 23, of Cambridge, who was seated within the train car. Calebre was removed and placed into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness. 

TPD Detectives allege Calebre is the same suspect male for other similar incidents occurring on the MBTA. TPD Detectives previously sought the public's assistance in the identification of Calebre relative to another similar act. Reference a Transit Police tweet posted on February 17, 2023. 

Calebre was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

New Bedford man arrested by TPD for Attempted Unarmed Robbery. MBTA Back Bay Station.

 On March 2, 2023 at approximately 8:25PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were at the MBTA's Back Bay station. While there they heard screams of "Police..Help..Police". Officers immediately proceeded in the direction of the screams and came upon a male/victim who pointed out another male, later identified as Jamaal Rahmeem, 38, of New Bedford. The victim went on to state Rahmeen attempted to forcefully take possession of a suitcase the victim was carrying. The victim and Rahmeen struggled over control of the suitcase and the victim was able to fend off Rahmeen. 

Officers approached Rahmeen and placed him into custody for Attempted Unarmed Robbery. Rahmeen was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Identification Sought: Please contact the TPD w/any information you have.

 On February 26, 2023 at approximately 6PM two minor females, ages 11 and 12, reported to TPD the following: while on the platform of the North Quincy MBTA station an adult male, also positioned on the platform, yelled out encouraging the girls to come to him. Both girls ignored the male. At this time the adult male began to walk in their direction and stated, "Come here... I have candy and puppies". Both females became frightened and fled the platform area. The male did not pursue nor follow. 

Transit Police detectives are seeking the public's assistance in the identification of the male depicted within. TPD detectives are interested in speaking with this person of interest relative to this investigation. Boston man already wanted for Assaulting a Police officer accosts a teenaged female.

 On February 28, 2023 at approximately 7PM a female teenager while travelling on an MBTA bus in the vicinity of Blue Hill Avenue/Mattapan Sq was approached by an adult male, later identified as Tevon Campbell, 27, of Boston. It was alleged Campbell commented on her appearance, asked where she was headed and wanted to sit next to her. The young lady rebuffed Campbell's advances and he in turn began calling her offensive and derogatory names. The young lady, in an attempt to get away from Campbell, exited the bus at the next stop and Campbell followed her off the bus. The young lady immediately re-entered the bus and notified the bus operator. Campbell did not re-enter but proceeded in the same direction as the bus was travelling: Mattapan Sq. MBTA station which was only a short distance away. The operator notified the Transit Police and multiple officers responded. Campbell was pointed out and the officers approached. him. Officers subsequently discovered there were several warrants in existence for Campbell's arrest issued out of Wrentham District Court for 2 counts of Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. 

Officers placed Campbell into custody for the warrants and will investigate additional charges of Annoying & Accosting. Campbell was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
