Possible Record-Man w/9 warrants arrested.

On January 30th, 2013 at approximately 8:30 p.m. plainclothes Transit Police officers from Area 1 were patrolling Park Street MBTA station when they observed a male, Stephen Pasquine, 43 of Boston, whom they believed may be a wanted person. Officers approached Pasquine on the platform area and subsequently confirmed 9 warrants in existence for Pasquine's arrest. The warrants were issued from several different courts (Boston, Wrentham, Attleboro and Milford) for various criminal charges. Pasquine was taken into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the booking process. He will appear in Roxbury District Court sometime today.

On January 30th, 2013 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Transit Police officers from Area 1 were conducting fare evasion enforcement at Park Street MBTA station. While doing so they observed a male, later identified as Keith Hill 29 of Somerville, enter through the fare gates without paying his fare. Officers approached Hill for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered 2 outstanding warrants in existence for Hill's arrest. The warrants issued from Cambridge District Court were for Intimidation of a Witness and Open & Gross Lewdness. Hill was taken into custody for the warrants and transported to Transit Police HQ for the booking process.

Fare Evasion update 2013 :

To date Transit Police officers have issued 482 fare evasion citations system wide in 2013. At this same time period last year officers issued 487 fare evasion citations. The Transit Police will continue to enforce fare evasion as a component of our Point of Entry Policing strategy to keep the MBTA system a secure and safe environment for all to enjoy.
