On February 26, 2020 at approximately 6:45PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were dispatched to the MBTA's North Station Commuter Rail for a report of a disorderly male on Track 1. Upon arrival officers met with witnesses who reported the following: A male, later identified as Brian Langner, 30, of Chemlsford removed his shoes and placed them into another passenger's bag. Langner then began yelling for no apparent reason. Officers approached Langner who appeared intoxicated and attempted to remove him from the train. Langner attempted to closed fisted strike the officer in the face. The officer was able to avoid Langner's assault and struggled with him ultimately placing him into custody.
Langner was transported to TPD HQ for the arest booking process.
