Man wanted in Brighton District Court draws attention to himself.

On February 12, 2020 Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Haymarket Station to take a report of Malicious Damage to an MBTA bus. Upon arrival officers were met by the MBTA bus operator who informed them a male kicked the doors to the bus causing it to shatter while he was in the busway at Haymarket Station. Officers were provided with a description of the offending male and conducted an area search to no avail.

A short time later officers were notified the offending male, later identified as Christopher Donlon, 39, of Revere was on board an MBTA bus in Chelsea. Officers located the bus on Park Street in Chelsea and subsequently discovered Donlon had a warrant for his arrest issued from Brighton District Court for Assault & Battery on a Person over 60. Donlon was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
