Victim from stabbing at MBTA DTC pronounced deceased. Arrest made.

 On February 7, 2022 at approximately 10PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Downtown Crossing Station for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival officers located a male victim, 29 year old Jaquan Rowell, suffering from an apparent stab wound. Officers immediately administered aid and Rowell was transported to a local area hospital by Boston EMS with life threatening injuries. 

On February 8, 2022 Transit Police officers arrested Anthony Nguyen, 47 of Boston, for Assault with Intent to Murder relative to the above incident.

March 1, 2022 Jaquan Rowell succumb to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. This matter is being investigated by Transit Police Detectives, Boston Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County DA's Office.
