On March 21, 2022 at approximately 10:25AM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District responded to the vicinity of Morton and Blue Hill Avenue for a report of a person shot on board an MBTA bus. Upon arrival officers located a 30 year old male suffering from an apparent gun shot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Based on early preliminary information it appears the victim and the alleged shooter were engaged in a verbal altercation prior to the incident. The facts and circumstances surrounding the incident is under active investigation. NO arrests made at this time.
