As a result of an investigation conducted by Transit Police detectives on March 23, 2022 at approximately 11:30AM in the 1600 block of Hyde Park Ave a Ricardo Blake, 35, of Mattapan was placed into custody by Transit Police officers for a shooting incident that occurred on an MBTA bus on March 21, 2022 (follow this link for further on shooting) Blake was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. Blake will face numerous firearm related charges as well as Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon-Firearm.
