On August 16, 2019 at approximately 6:15PM members of the TPD's Crime Suppression Team were at the MBTA's Andrew Sq. Station monitoring the rush hour crowds to ensure everyone's safety. While there they observed two males and a female activate the exit sensor of the fare gates from the unpaid side and then proceed through without paying. Officers approached the trio for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered all three had warrants in existence for their arrest:
David Silva, 32, of Quincy, Larceny & several motor vehicle violations.
Amanda Hester, 30, of Dorchester, Motor vehicle violations and
Jonathan Zakas, 35, of Manchester, NH, Drug violations, Receiving Stolen property, Possession of Burglarious tools and numerous motor vehcile violations.
All three were placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arest booking process.
