On August 7, 2019 at approximately 5PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the area of Park & Washington Street in Dorchester for a person possibly stabbed on board an MBTA bus. Upon arrival officers report the following preliminary information: A female, approximate age of 18, was involved in an altercation on board a Route 23 MBTA bus in the vicinity of Park & Washington street. As a result the female victim sustained a non life threatening stab wound and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
The incident is under active investigation by Transit Police detectives. No further information available at this time.
