Dwyarrn Burton
On August 4, 2019 at approximately 1:10PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's North Station for a report of an Assault. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim, a female, who relayed the following: while traveling on an inbound Green Line train an unknown male attempted to engage the victim in conversation. As the victim exited her train the male followed and Indecently Assaulted her from behind. The male then fled.

Based on a detailed description of the offending male officers conducted an area search and located a male fitting the description in the Commuter Rail lobby. The victim positively identified the suspect, later identified as Dwyarrn Burton, 26, of Boston as the male who assaulted her. Burton was placed into custdy and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was discovered Burton had a warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Cambridge D.C. for Disorderly Conduct.
