West Concord

On August 18, 2017 at approximately 7:50PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Nouth District received a radio call to respond to the West Concord Commuter Rail station for a report of a person possibly struck by an MBTA Commuter rail train. Multiple Transit Police units along with Concord Police, Fire and EMS responded. Transit Police personnel on scene report the following preliminary information: a male, approximate age of 15, while riding his bicycle and crossing from one side of the station the other was struck by an eastbound train on track 2. The male has been transported to a local area hospital for serious, possibly life threatening injuries. 

Transit Police detectives and representatives from the Middlesex County DA's Office are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. Foul play is NOT suspected.
