On August 21, 2017 at approximately 4:40PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Aquarium Station for a report of an Indecent Exposure. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim, a 22 year old female, who relayed the following information: while traveling on a Blue Line train between Suffolk Downs and Orient Heights she observed a male, later identified as Danny Ashager, 39, of Everett, with his genitals exposed and committing a lewd act. The victim also stated she believed young children were also present on the train car.
Officers, after reviewing independent evidence, approached Ashager and placed him into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness. Ashager was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
