Lynda Parker |
On April 30, 2014 at approximately 9:45pm a Transit Police officer passing through the Transit Police HQ's parking lot observed two individuals, later identified as
Matthew Walsh, 33 of Dorchester and
Lynda Parker, 40 of Boston. Walsh and Parker were crouched down in between two vehicles that were parked in the front lot. The officer began to make his way to their location, upon seeing the officer Walsh and Parker immediately stood up and quickly tried to walk away. The officer stopped both parties and inquired about their suspicious actions. The officer received inconsistent statements and subsequent to an investigation discovered both subjects had warrants in existence for their arrest. Walsh's warrant was issued from Concord District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended license and Parker's warrants (all 6) were issued from South Boston District Court for Credit Card Fraud Over 250.00. Both subjects were placed into custody (usually at this time we would state "and transported to Transit Police HQ" for the arrest booking process) however they were already at TPD HQ.
