Death Investigation |
On May 10, 2014 at approximately 6 am Transit Police officers received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Winchester Center Commuter Rail station for a person possibly struck by a commuter rail train. Multiple Transit Police units responded as well as Winchester Fire and Police. Transit Police personnel on scene report the following preliminary information; a white male trespassing on the right of way of track 1 was struck by an outbound train in the vicinity of Winchester Center station. The male has been pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained. Transit Police detectives and representatives from the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office are currently investigating the facts and circumstances leading to the incident.
