On September 16, 2013 at approximately 9:55 a.m. Transit Police officers from Area 4 were on patrol at Ruggles MBTA station when they observed a female, later identified as
Kerrin Donahue, 31 of New Bedford, smoking directly under a conspicuously posted "No Smoking" sign. Officers approached Donahue for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant for Donahue's arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court for Shoplifting.

Later that same day at approximately 11:47 a.m. Transit Police officers from Area 1 were on patrol at Downtown Crossing MBTA station when they observed a female, later identified as
Alexa Lee, 23 of East Boston, fare evade by entering through the exit only as patrons were leaving the station. Officers approached Lee and subsequently discovered there were two warrants in existence for her arrest issued from Salem District Court for Shoplifting and Peabody District Court for Malicious Destruction of Property Over 250.00.

Also on the 16th at approximately 4 p.m. Transit Police officers from Area 3 were on patrol at Andrew Sq. MBTA station when their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as
Patrick Linsky, 43 of South Boston fare evade by "Piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Linsky and sure enough there were two warrants in existence for Linsky's arrest issued from Quincy District Court for Assault&Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
All the above individuals were taken into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
