Man arrested for OUI in MBTA Wonderland lot

On September 7, 2013 at approximately 2am Transit Police officers were patrolling the MBTA 's Wonderland parking lot when they observed a vehicle, being operated by Jose Hurtado, 28 of Westborough, driving erratically in the far end of the lot. Hurtado was wildly spinning his tires and driving in circles. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Based on the officers interaction with Hurtado they believed he was under the influence of intoxicating liquors. Subsequent to an investigation officers did place Hurtado into custody for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Hurtado was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. At this time is was discovered there was a warrant in existence for Hurtado's arrest issued from Westborough District Court for Unlicensed Operation of a MV and Operating a MV after Suspension. It is expected Hurtado will be arraigned sometime Monday in Chelsea District Court.
