2 Men arrested for Defacing MBTA property

On September 10, 2013 at approximately 2:39am Transit Police officers received a radio call to respond to Von Hillern Street and Dorchester Avenue for two subjects trespassing on the MBTA Red Line tracks and spray painting "tagging" MBTA property. Prior to the officers arrival they observed two males, later identifed as Joseph Domoracki 23 of Boston and Max McGuigan 23 of Providence, RI, walking in a hurried pace and carrying back packs one block past Von Hillern Street. Officers encountered both male subjects and upon further investigation discovered Domoracki and McGuigan were in possession of several spray paint cans, rubber gloves, various spray can tips and other items relating to graffiti. Additionally officers noted both Domoracki and McGuigan had fresh paint about their clothing.

Officers documented what appeared to be freshly painted "taggings" along 6 locations both males were observed.  Furthermore the officers received a positive identification from the reporting party Domoracki and McGuigan were the individuals observed trespassing on the Red Line right of way and defacing MBTA property. Both males were placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Doromacki and McGuigan are expected to be arraigned sometime today in Dorchester District Court for Malicious Destruction of Property and Trespassing.
