Eddie Divas
On January 30, 2015 at approximately 7pm Transit Police officers working in Area 1 were on patrol at the MBTA's South Station bus terminal. While there an officer's attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Eddie Divas, 18, of Dorchester who was in possession of a knife and threatening a male victim, 42, of Maine. The officer immediately began to make his way towards the assault. Upon seeing the officer Divas fled running down track 1 towards the Commuter Rail area. The officer gave pursuit and with the assistance of another Transit Police officer was able to stop Divas and place him into custody. Divas was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected Divas will be arraigned sometime on Monday, 02/02/15, for Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon to wit a knife.
