On January 26, 2015 at approximately 2pm Transit Police officers on patrol at the Forest Hills MBTA station responded to the sound of gunshots coming from the direction of the New Washington Street end of the station ( see posting here). Subsequent to an investigation Transit Police detectives arrested Reginald Price, 18, of Jamaica Plain and Nicholas Bootman, 18, of Dorchester. It is expected Price and Bootman will be arraigned sometime today in West Roxbury District Court for numerous Assault charges to include Assault with Intent to Murder and various firearm violations.
