The vehicle had a single adult female passenger/client located within. The operator exited the vehicle and during this time the adult female passenger/client remained seated within the vehicle. TPD detectives believe the operator left the keys in the ignition. At this time a 34 year old male entered the vehicle and drove away. The SP male headed in the direction of Boston. The female passenger, who has intellectual challenges, began calling 911 seeking help/assistance. <p></p><p> Massachusetts State Police Troopers notified of the 911 calls as well as the vehicle's general vicinity immediately responded to the area and ultimately observed the RIDE vehicle had crashed into several other vehicles and the tunnel wall. The 67 y/o denied the male's request. This apparently angered the male. His response was to remove a knife from his waistband and threaten the victim with harm. The victim exited the train at the first available stop, Ruggles Station, where he encountered TPD. Witnesses present corroborated the victim's statement. </p><p>After obtaining a description of the assailant several TPD officers coordinated an area area search and located the offending male in front of Roxbury Crossing Station. The male, Maximus Brown 21 of West Roxbury, was positively identified and placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the booking process. Brown was also in possession of what we believe to be cocaine. Brown was booked under the charge of Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p><p></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2848019256420683996.post-42542073683784223482023-03-07T07:52:00.002-05:002023-03-07T07:56:43.520-05:00Cambridge man arrested for Open & Gross Lewdness. <p> On March 6, 2023 at approximately 9:30AM a female while travelling on a Red Line train from JFK-UMass to Quincy Center Station reported the following: A male sat directly across from her and committed a lewd act. While doing so the male was staring and laughing at the victim. The victim took the suspect's photograph. TPD was notified and service was held at Quincy Center Station. Responding officers were met by the victim who furnished the officers with the referenced photograph. Based on the photograph officers located the offending male, later identified as Calebre Predelus, 23, of Cambridge, who was seated within the train car. Calebre was removed and placed into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness. </p><p>TPD Detectives allege Calebre is the same suspect male for other similar incidents occurring on the MBTA. TPD Detectives previously sought the public's assistance in the identification of Calebre relative to another similar act. Reference a Transit Police tweet posted on February 17, 2023. </p><p>Calebre was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2848019256420683996.post-33728317476302086352023-03-03T08:29:00.000-05:002023-03-03T08:29:21.642-05:00New Bedford man arrested by TPD for Attempted Unarmed Robbery. Transit Police officer was on patrol at the MBTA Alewife Station in Cambridge.
The officer had his attention drawn to the fifth (5th) floor of the
parking garage after hearing a loud audible crash. The officer immediately
proceeded in that direction. Upon arrival, he observed that a white Honda Civic
had crashed through the concrete barrier wall and was partially hanging off the
roof on the east side of the garage directly above the main mezzanine of the
station. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As the officer approached the vehicle, he observed a 29 year
old male, determined to be from Medford, lying on the ground next to the
driver’s side open door. The male was conscious but not alert. Shortly
thereafter, the driver ceased breathing. The officer immediately began life
saving measures with positive results. Upon arrival of EMTs, care of the driver
was transferred to them. The injured male was transported to a local hospital
for emergency care. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Based on statements made by the driver to the responding
officer, interviews conducted with the driver’s immediate family member as well
as the follow-up investigation conducted by Transit Police detectives, we
believe the driver’s actions were intentional and he was seeking to harm
himself. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">After conferring with the Middlesex District Attorney’s
Office, we establish the following; Whereas the male driver operated his
vehicle in a reckless and negligent manner, we seek the criminal charge of
Operating to Endanger in violation of M.G.L., and whereas the male driver’s
reckless and negligent actions caused numerous pedestrians/commuters to be
struck with significant debris causing injury to one. We seek eight (8) counts
of the criminal charge Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon to Wit: Glass,
Steel, Concrete. <o:p></o:p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg01ijeGTJf63WA7MVGR_lHtHeKB4zfxYzoWjYyoGcAY72roukn8-gMzYfrVg7GpyT-mLevgaxtm4EBDLXcv5itV7yIKZDFZ8eSCVJmk5NWd13Oroy04_0FUDMi5xIQgQQUecKTDXU8oMOgYQw05ICoYeXDwOvvuob0MNEJDRwDiOmTg2dbfBM-Bn4mxg/s565/LOGO.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="565" data-original-width="426" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg01ijeGTJf63WA7MVGR_lHtHeKB4zfxYzoWjYyoGcAY72roukn8-gMzYfrVg7GpyT-mLevgaxtm4EBDLXcv5itV7yIKZDFZ8eSCVJmk5NWd13Oroy04_0FUDMi5xIQgQQUecKTDXU8oMOgYQw05ICoYeXDwOvvuob0MNEJDRwDiOmTg2dbfBM-Bn4mxg/s320/LOGO.JPG" width="241" /></a></div><p></p>

Upon arrival the officer encountered the male that was alleged to have trespassed on the right of way, later identified as Joshua Chavez, 21, of Boston. Officers engaged Chavez in conversation and he admitted to being on the right of way. Based on the officer's observations of Chavez during this encounter the officer subsequently recovered a loaded 1911 firearm, hammer cocked with a bullet in the chamber, from Chavez' waistband. Chavez was subsequently booked at TPD HQ for unlicensed possession of a loaded firearm, unlicensed possession of ammunition and possession of a Class A substance-to wit Heroin. </p><p><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Station were alerted by a concerned citizen that a male, later identified as Carlos Pires, 48 of Boston, had exposed himself to a young female while onboard a Route 15 bus. Officers immediately proceeded in the direction of the bus and located the victim and a witness. Officers were informed of the following: while traveling inbound to Nubian Sq. on a route 15 bus Pires was making inappropriate and aggressive sexual comments to an 18-year-old female and ultimately exposed his genitals to her. When the victim attempted to use her phone to contact her mother relative to what was taking place Pires stated "You trying to call the cops?" and attempted to forcefully grab the phone from the victim's hand. Pires was unsuccessful. </p><p>Based on a description from the victim and witness officers located Pires on Roxbury Street at Shawmut Ave. Pires made disparaging comments about women/victim and stated to the officers "Now arrest me". The officers did in fact arrest Pires and transported him to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process: Annoying & Accosting, Threats to Commit a Crime, Disorderly Conduct and Attempted Unarmed Robbery. </p><p>Transit Police officers have had several encounters with Pires relative to his alleged behavior directed towards women and have sought criminal charges as a result thereof. Those matters are pending. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2848019256420683996.post-59915459116204591062022-12-22T14:17:00.000-05:002022-12-22T14:17:18.121-05:00Larceny Investigation. Upon arrival officers located a male victim who had sustained a laceration to his face. Witnesses pointed out another male, later identified as Hocine Lounici, 38, of Medford as the assailant. Witnesses alleged they observed a verbal dispute between the two men when suddenly Lounici began to attack the victim with some instrument. Officers immediately controlled Lounici and determined he was responsible for the victim's injuries. Lounici was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for a non life threatening injury to his face.</p><p>The facts and circumstances leading to the incident are still under investigation.</p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; Upon arrival officers met with a female victim who informed the officers she was Indecently Assaulted by an unknown male a short while ago at Copley MBTA Station and provided a description of the SP. Officers immediately responded to Copley Station and observed a male, later identified as Abdirahman Abdullahi, 24, of Boston matching the description provided by the reporting party. The observant officers also noted Abdullahi matched the depiction of a male involved in a separate Indecent Assault & Battery incident occurring at the MBTA Copley Station on November 18, 2022 at approximately 5:50PM. </p><p>After an on scene investigation conducted by the responding officers they concluded Abdullahi was the male depicted in the photograph of the prior alleged incident (11/18) and placed him into custody. Abdullahi was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. Abdullahi may face additional counts/charges pending an investigation for separate alleged incidents of Indecent Assault & Battery. </p><p> </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; The juvenile and his companions then fled running through a crowd of people causing pedestrians to jump out their way and into the street to avoid being knocked over. The officers caught up to the offending juvenile a short distance away. The juvenile was non-compliant and hurled numerous expletives at the officers. Ultimately the juvenile male with a closed fist punched the officer in his chest. At this time the juvenile, 14 of Dorchester, was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2848019256420683996.post-24571295902720421512022-10-26T07:29:00.001-04:002022-10-26T07:29:23.538-04:00Dorchester man arrested for Indecently Assaulting a 15 & 18 year old. <p> On October 15, 2022 at approximately 7:30PM two females, age 15 and 18, while on an MBTA Red Line train were Indecently Assaulted by an unknown male. The assaults took place on the train just outside Broadway Station. As a result of a Transit Police detective investigation a suspect was developed and a Person of Interest Poster was generated. On October 25, 2022 at approximately 6PM a very observant TPD officer spotted a male whom he believed resembled the subject depicted in the poster. The officer approached the male just outside of Downtown Crossing on Winter Place. The male, later identified as Edgar Alonzo, 35, of Dorchester, was positively identified as the offending male and placed into custody for Indecent Assault & Battery 2 counts and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; Upon arrival however the victim observed two customers, a female and the SP male, and they proceeded to enter the victim's vehicle. The Victim attempted to explain the Lyft order was only for a single person. The SP male became angry. The Victim tried to ease the situation by informing the SP male he would cancel the order for no charge. The female upon hearing this exited the victim's vehicle. The SP male however refused to exit but proceeded to the victim's passenger door and with a closed fist struck victim in the face and then again in the Victim's ear. Sp male then fled. </p><p>Officers observed fresh blood dripping from Victim's face as well as a laceration above his right eye. The Victim supplied the officers with a description of the offending male and shortly thereafter officers located both the SP male and his female companion near the parking garage. The SP male admitted to assaulting the Victim and was positively identified. The SP male, a 30 year old East Boston resident, will be summoned into court for Assault and Battery. Victim refused medical attention. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p><p></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2848019256420683996.post-74908395530152581962022-09-23T07:35:00.002-04:002022-09-23T07:35:15.658-04:00Two Boston men face assault charges over loud music. <p> On September 22, 2022 at approximately 5:10PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Ruggles Station for a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival officers were met by the participants and witnesses. The following is a synopsis of what they deciphered: A 34 year old Boston man while traveling on an Orange Line train was playing music on his phone's speakers because he claimed not to have headphones. A fellow female passenger requested he turn the music down as she believed it was too loud. The male rejected his fellow passenger's request. At this time a 67 year old man, also from Boston, confronted the alleged loud music playing man and demanded he turn down the volume. The music player allegedly responded with some expletives and suggested the 67 year old man mind his own business. Not satisfied with that the 67 year old man punched the music player in the mouth. In response the music player administered strikes back hitting the 67 year old in the head. The two were ultimately separated by other passengers. </p><p>The 67 year old was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation. Both parties will be summoned into Roxbury District Court on assault charges. </p><p><span color="inherit" face="Arial, sans-serif" style="border: 0px none; font-size: 12pt; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-alternates: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-position: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="color: #201f1e;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="color: black;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;">media inquiries should be directed to Superintendent Richard Sullivan at </span></i><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i>rsullivan@mbta.com </i></span><i style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;"> </span></i><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"><span face=""><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; font-size: large;"><i style="font-size: 16px;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">the</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> events listed above are</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;"> allegations; All </a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""><a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i><i style="color: #1f497d; font-family: calibri; text-align: center;"><span color=""><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span style="font-family: calibri;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""><span><span><span><span face=""> <a href="mailto:rsullivan@mbta.com" style="font-size: 12pt;">doubt</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></i></p><p></p>MBTA Transit Policehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09008457230420013491noreply@blogger.com
