On March 11, 2021 at approximately 8:41PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were on patrol at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing Orange Line south when their attention was drawn to a male they believed was wanted by Transit Police Detectives. Officers approached the male, later identified as Brandon Awogboro, 24, of Mattapan and confirmed he was wanted out of West Roxbury District Court for Indecent Assault & Battery and Lewd, Wanton & Lascivious Conduct and Orleans District Court for Receiving Stolen Property and Larceny under 1,200. Awogboro was placed into custody and transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process.
