Cell phone Robbery Ashmont Station.

 On March 11, 2021 at approximately 7:40PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the South District was on patrol at the MBTA's Ashmont Station when he was alerted to a disturbance in the south lobby. Upon arrival the officer was met by the victim who informed him he was just robbed of his cell phone and relayed the following info: Victim was confronted and physically assaulted by a female who went into the V's pocket and removed his cell phone. The victim followed the female assailant in a attempt to retrieve his phone back when the female's companion, a male, approached the V armed with a knife and threatened to stab the victim. The victim backed away and the male and female fled the station. 

Subsequent to an area search and a positive identification from the victim Tasheaka Buchanan, 26, of Dorchester and Jaquan Braxton, 29, of Dorchester was placed into custody for Armed Robbery Knife and Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon-Knife. Braxton is additionally charged with Resisting Arrest. Both subjects were transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process.
