Quincy man w/Armed Robbery warrant skips fare at South Station.....

On March 12. 2018 at approximately 10:30PM TPD officers working in the Central District were conducting fare evasion enforcement at the MBTA's South Station Red Line. While there Officers observed a male, later identified as David Tracy, 35, of Quincy enter through the fare gates without paying. Officers approached Tracy for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a Norfolk Superior Court warrant in existence for his arrest for Armed Robbery.



Tracy was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was revealed Tracy had previously been cited for fare evasion by TPD, hence he was cited for a 2nd offence.
