Suffolk County District Attorney's Office issues an Advanced Advisory for Friday 04/10/2015 regarding a homicide which took place at Dudley MBTA on February 28, 2013.
Opening statements are expected tomorrow morning in the trial of JAMEL BANNISTER (D.O.B. 10/7/90) of Dorchester, charged with first-degree murder for the Feb. 28, 2013, shooting death of Courtney Jackson, 26, as the victim exited a bus at Dudley station. Bannister’s co-defendant, BRIAN COOPER (D.O.B. 1/19/88) of Mattapan, pleaded guilty last week to second-degree murder; he will be sentenced next month.
