On August 24, 2014 at approximately 1:20PM a Transit Police officer, with a talent and track record for recognizing wanted persons, and his partner were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Forest Hills station. While there they observed a male, later identified as
Juan Garcia, 43, of Hyde Park enter through the fare gates. One of the officers recognized Garica and believed there were warrants out for his arrest. The officers approached and confirmed Garcia was wanted out of Roxbury District Court for Possession to Distribute a Class A Substance, Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon. Garcia was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
