Lexington Man sells drugs to a UC

On May 21, 2013 Transit Police detectives working in a undercover (UC) capacity were at Quincy Center MBTA station to address issues of drug activity. While there a male, later identified as Scott McDevitt, 22 of Lexington, did sell a Controlled Class B substance- Suboxone- to a UC Transit Police detective. In addition to the drugs McDevitt sold he was in possession of additional Suboxone also for sale. McDevitt was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Officers discovered McDevitt was also in possession of marijuana, less then an ounce, which he had stored in a cigarette box. McDevitt is expected to be arraigned today in Quincy District Court for Distribution of a Controlled Class B substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Class B substance.
