On October 16, 2018 at approximately 4:43PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Charles/MGH station for a male taking video/photo's up a female's dress. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim who relayed the following: While ascending up the southbound escalator a male who was behind her positioned his cellular telephone beneath her skirt and between her legs. This was also witnessed by another passenger who remained behind to give a statement to officers.
Officers located a male, later identified as Abdul Ahmed, 26, of Boston who matched the description provided by the victim and witness. Ahmed was positively identified as the offending male and placed into custody for 'Upskirting" and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
