On Sunday September 16, 2018 we issued a photo depicting a male subject of interest relative to an Indecent Assault & Battery investigation. (see posting here). As a direct result of numerous tips that came in from members of our MBTA community Transit Police detectives arrested Tyler Grace, 36, of Winthrop this morning. Grace, a registered Level 3 Sex Offender, will be arraigned sometime today in Brookline District Court for the above referenced charge.We would like to take this opportunity to once again praise and acknowledge all those who provided us with tips. You are directly responsible for the identification and getting a Level 3 Sex Offender off of the MBTA system and help bring justice to the victim in this matter. Our MBTA community ALWAYS come through !! Together we can maintain as safe a system as possible
