On September 9, 2018 at approximately 10AM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Downtown Crossing station to meet a victim of an assault. Upon arrival officers were met by a female who reported the following: while walking in the corridor from the Red Line to the Orange Line the victim was Indecently Assaulted by an unknown male. The unknown male then fled towards the Chauncy Street exit. The victim provided officers with a description of her assailant.
TPD officers conducted a thorough area search and located Isaisa Plaza, 18, of Chelsea who was positively identified as the offending male. Plaza was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. Plaza will face the charge of Indecent Assault & Battery in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
