Transit Police log

On November 1st, 2012 at approximately 5PM Transit Police officers assigned to Area 1 were on patrol at MBTA Park Street station when they observed a male, later identified as William Lahme, 55 of Boston,MA., enter into the station without paying. Officers approached Lahme for purposes of issuing him a citation. While the officers were obtaining the necessary information Lahme suddenly fled the platform area and exited through the fare gates running up the stairs which lead outside the station. Officers pursued Lahme and were able to grabbed hold of him, Lahme however held onto the railing and refused to let go. Ultimately officers were able to bring Lahme under control, Lahme was attempting to flee for good reason; there were two outstanding default warrants for his arrest issued from Ayer District Court for OUI Liquor 2nd Offence and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The 2nd warrant also from Ayer D.C. was for Breaking &Entering and Malicious Destruction of Property. Lahme was placed into custody, transported to Transit Police HQ for processing and issued a citation for fare evasion. Lahme will eventually appear back in Ayer D.C.

On Thursday November 1st, 2012 at approximately 6PM Transit Police detectives were at Downtown Crossing MBTA station on a follow up investigation when they recognized two individuals, Angela Blomquist, 32 of Hyde Park, MA., and Keith Grace, 20 also of Hyde Park,MA.,  whom they believed had outstanding warrants for their arrest. Detectives confirmed the existence of the warrants and placed both subjects into custody; Blomquist had an outstanding warrant issued from Boston Municipal Court for Uttering and Grace had several warrants issued from Brookline District Court for Assault &Battery on a Child with Injuries, Reckless Endangerment of a Child, Assault & Battery and Intimdation. Blomquist and Grace were transported to Transit Police HQ for processing and will appear in the respective courts sometime today.
