Tips from Public pays off-Man arrested

On September 11th, 2012 the Transit Police requested the public's assistance in identifying an individual who fondled and exposed himself to a female while riding a Red Line train. (please see our Blog posting http://tpdnews411.blogspot.com/2012/09/help-transit-police-id-this-man.html).

Today, September 17th, 2012 Transit Police detectives arrested Peter O'Connor, 55 of Braintree, MA. at the Braintree MBTA station. O'Connor was transported to Transit Police HQ and processed, he will appear in Cambridge District Court tomorrow where he will face the charge of Open and Gross Lewdness.

Transit Police Superintendent-in-Chief Joseph O'Connor stated "We want to thank the members of the community that provided information that led us to make an arrest in this case. This is another example of the impact that concerned individuals can make by providing information to Transit Police. As always we appreciate tips and ask that If you See Something Say Something ".
