North Station UPDATE: ARREST MADE

Robert Gaul
On November 21, 2019 we posted photographs depicting a subject of interest in an unprovoked violent assault on a female victim occuring at the MBTA's North Station. (see posting here) On November 22, 2019 Transit Police detectives working on a tip were in the vicinity of Park Street MBTA station. While there at approximately 1:40PM they observed a male, later identified as Robert Gaul, 45, of Boston who matched the subject depicted in the referenced photographs. Detectives approached Gaul and confirmed he was in fact the subject depicted from the surveillance photo. Gaul also identified himself from the photo. Gaul was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was discovered there were two warrants in existence for Gaul's arrest issued from Lowell District Court for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon on a person over 60 years of age and Brockton District Court for Aggravated Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Gaul has also used the name  ROBERT BOOKER.
