Transit Police/Anthony Orlando |
On June 26, 2013 at approximately 12:15pm Transit Police detectives/officers working in a plainclothes capacity were at Andrew Sq. MBTA station in an ongoing commitment to address drug activity. While in the busway officers did observe a male, later identified as
Anthony Orlando, 36 of Weymouth, distribute a controlled Class E substance (Gabapentins) to two other males. Both males immediately ingested the drugs. Orlando also engaged in conversation with an additional third male relative to furnishing him with a controlled substance as well. Officers approached Orlando, who was in possession of additional controlled substances (Gabapentins, Adderals and Suboxones), and placed him under arrest for violation of the Commonwealth's drug laws. Orlando was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process and is expected to be arraigned sometime today at South Boston District Court.
