Quincy man arrested for a stabbing at Fields Corner Station.

 On February 27, 2022 at approximately 11:45PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the South District was on patrol at the MBTA's Fields Corner Station. While there the officer heard a loud disturbance coming from the southbound platform area. The officer proceeded in that direction and observed two males who appeared to be in conflict with one another. Multiple other TPD officers arrived on scene separated the parties and were informed of the following: a male, later identified as Michael Buckley, 40, of Quincy and another male, the Victim, engaged in a verbal dispute while travelling onboard the train. Upon the train's arrival to Fields Corner Station the dispute turned physical and the victim sustained a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for a non-life threatening injury and Buckley was placed into custody for Assault & Battery w/a Dangerous Weapon. Buckley was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
