On November 3, 2020 at approximately 7:30PM at the MBTA's Harvard Sq. station a male victim, after a verbal confrontation, was violently set upon by a several males one of whom stabbed the victim numerous times. The victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
After an investigation by Transit Police detectives Chinier Bennett, 23, of Lynn was placed into custody on November 4, 2020 at the intersection of Washington and Winter Street's in Boston by Transit Police. Bennett was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. Bennett to face numerous charges to include Assault & Battery w/a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Murder.
