Boston man attempts to rob two female juveniles. Quincy Center.

 On November 27, 2020 at approximately 7:11PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Quincy Center station for a report of a robbery in the bu sway. Upon arrival officers ascertained the following: A male, later identified as Vernard Shepard, 31, of Boston who was wearing a homemade ballistic vest approached two minor females and requested they give him money. When the juvenile victims refused Shepard removed a large hunting knife held it in a threatening manner and demanded money. The victims fled and flagged down help. Shepard was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. The knife used was determined to be double edged in violation of the law. Shepard to face the following charges: Attempted Armed Robbery and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
