Boston man arrested for Indecent Assault and Open & Gross Conduct

On July 1, 2020 at approximately 7PM a female victim was entering through the fare gates at the MBTA's Harvard Sq. station. At this time a male, later identified as Josue Gonzalez, 20, of Boston "piggybacked" in behind her. Gonzalez then boarded the same train as the victim and took a seat next to her. Gonzalez made inappropriate comments and the victim requested to be left alone. At this time Gonzalez indecently assaulted the victim. In fear for her safety the victim exited the train at Kendall Sq. and noticed Gonzalez was now fully exposing himself to her. The victim called 911 and Transit Police responded.

Based on a description provided Gonzalez was detained and was positively identified by the victim. Gonzalez was placed into custody for Indecent Assault & Battery and Open and Gross Conduct.
