Quincy man arrested for Up-Skirting Broadway Station.

Yao Wong
On July 23, 2019 at approximately 7:45PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Broadway station for a report of a male "Up-Skirting" a female victim with his cellular telephone. Upon arrival officers were met by a witness who relayed the following: While ascending up the escalator the witness was passed and bumped by a male, later identified as Yoa Wong, 27, of Quincy. The witness believes he was passed and bumped by Wong so he (Wong) could better position himself with the victim. At this time the witness reports Wong using his cellular telephone videoed under the victim's dress and between her legs while positioned behind her.

The witness followed Wong out onto Dorchester Avenue and was able to have someone contact 911 and prevent Wong from leaving until police arrived. Based on witness/s statements and statements made on scene Wong was placed into custody under the Up-Skirting Law and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
