28 year old man caught defacing MBTA Station.

Alexa Royce
On July 15, 2019 at approximately 11:13PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Hynes station for a report of a person defacing the side of the station with green and white paint. Upon arrival officers were met by a witness, who provided a description of the male involved. Officers were able to locate a male fitting the description, later identified as Alexa Royce, 28, of Jamaica Plain. Royce was shirtless and officers observed white paint splattered about his abdomen and green paint on his fingertips. Officers also discovered Royce was in possession of five green and white spray paint cans. Royce was positively identified as the person defacing/vandalizing the station.

Officers were unable to decipher what Royce had spray painted. When asked what he sprayed on the building Royce responded " It's my personal art. I don't want to share that with you". Royce was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
