Cambridge woman assaults MBTA bus operator.

On May 13, 2018 at approximately 2:30PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were in the vicinity of MBTA Park Street station when they were alerted to an MBTA bus with it's emergency lights activated on Tremont and Bromfield Street's. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim an MBTA bus operator who relayed the following: while operating the bus near Park Street Station a female passenger, later identified as Nicole Delgado, 37, of Cambridge demanded to be let off the bus. The operator explained he could not let her off in the middle of the street and the bus would be at a safe location very shortly and she could disembark at that time. Delgado began to yell at the operator, kick the bus' doors while in motion and then punched the operator directly in his face. The operator activated his emergency lights to summon help.



Officers located Delgado and placed her into custody for Assault & Battery and transported her to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
