Trespasser struck |
On April 5 2017 at approximately 9PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the area of Savin Hill MBTA station for a person possibly struck by Commuter Rail train. Multiple Transit Police units responded along with Boston Fire and EMS. Transit Police personnel on scene report the following preliminary information : a male, age 24, while trespassing on the right of way was struck by an outbound MBTA Commuter Rail train (Greenbush Line) just south of Savin Hill MBTA station. The victim was transported to a local area hospitol with serious injuries. This incident remains under investigation by TPD detectives.
