Brookline man wanted for Rape draws attention to himself.

Kerry Jones
On April 3, 2017 at approximately 6:50AM members of the Transit PD MOP Unit were on patrol at the MBTA's North Station Commuter Rail lobby when their attention was drawn to a loud electrical snapping sound. Officers proceeded in the direction of the noise ( near track 10)and encountered a male, later identified as Kerry Jones, 45, of Brookline holding a pink in color "stun gun". Jones claimed he just found the weapon and was demonstrating how it works to others present. Officers took possession of the weapon and subsequently discovered Jones had several warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Suffolk Superior Court for 3 counts of Rape, 3 counts of Assault & Battery w/a Dangerous Weapon and Strangulation.

Jones was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Jones will also be charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
