180.00 dollar sneakers for 90.00 dollars lands man in jail.

On February 27, 2015 at approximately 9:30am Transit Police officers working in Area 3 were on patrol at the MBTA's JFK-UMass station when their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Joshua Erlandson, 25, of Dorchester. Erlandson was overheard attempting to sell a 180.00 dollar pair of sneakers for 90.00 dollars. Officers approached Erlandson and subsequently discovered there were several warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for: Distribution of Class C drugs, Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws, Drug Violation near a School Zone and Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances. Erlandson was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
