Man wanted for Cocaine Trafficking caught fare evading.

On February 12, 2015 at approximately 5:45pm Transit Police officers were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing station. While there they observed a male, later identified as Ferney Duran,51, of East Boston fare evade by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Duran for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for his arrest issued by Suffolk Superior Court for Cocaine Trafficking. Duran was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
