Quincy men arrested after drug transaction

Peter Wilkinson
On December 2, 2014 at approximately 5:30pm Transit Police officers working in Area 3 were on patrol at the MBTA's Quincy Center Station when their attention was drawn to two males, later identified as Michael Murray, 32, and Peter Wilkinson, 53, both of Quincy. Wilkinson and Murray were standing on the Red Line platform and were overheard negotiating a drug transaction. Shortly thereafter both males boarded a northbound train, once on board Murray was observed handing Wilkinson US Curency and in exchange Wilkinson handed Murray what appeared to be a clear baggie containing pills. (believed to be Klonopins) When the train entered JFK/UMass station both parties were removed and placed into custody for violations of the Commonwealth's Drug Laws. Subsequently officers discovered there were 2 warrants in existence for Murray's arrest issued from Roxbury District Court for Receiving Stolen Property and Threats to Commit a Crime and Dorchester District Court for Larceny. Wilkinson and Murray were transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected both will be arraigned sometime today in Quincy District Court.
