Wanted Cambridge man, openly rolling marijuana cigarette. Arrested

On September 15, 2014 at approximately 6pm a Transit Police officer on patrol at Dudley MBTA station had his attention drawn to a male, later identified as Jamal Roscoe, 23, of Cambridge. Roscoe was seated in the busway and was rolling himself what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. Upon approach of the officer Roscoe quickly dropped the green vegetable matter to the ground and began to mash it into the pavement with his foot. Subsequently the officer discovered Roscoe was a wanted man out of Cambridge District Court; warrants issued for Assault on a Person Over 65, Assault & Battery on a person Over 65 and Unlicensed Operation of a MV. Roscoe was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
